"Average across the board for a style that REALLY needs to be nailed for me to take notice. Light bodied, straw color, light toasted malts and earthy hops. Nuthin else..."

Love the name but this beer is not really as crisp as I think that a kolsch should be. A little slick and sugary as well. Not a bad beer not one of the best in the taster.

On tap at Base Camp. Colour...golden straw with no head. Nose...lemon, butyl esters and delicate hops. Palate...lemon biscuits and water crackers with bursts of lemon zest and pith to accompany the delightful dry hop aspect. This will be a dandy in the warmer weather!

Tap @ Base Camp... Poured unfiltered, bright, golden/yellow with a white head. Nose had cracker malts and dense hop resinous. Hoppy and bitter for the style, but that’s alright I guess since this is the NW. Tasted clean, biscuity-cracker-like malts, bready, sharp lemon citrus, floral and grassy hops. I only wish it has a lower abv so I could really slam these back.
