COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Ripstop Rye Pils is our reinterpretation of the classic pilsner lager beer: aromas of European malt and noble-type hops mingle with a dignified, refreshing, and clean malt character that is further distinguished with a generous addition of spicy rye malt, creating a beer that is at once malty, zesty, crisp, hoppy, and incredibly drinkable.

Golden in color slight haze with a thin head. Interesting light rye flavor and finish. Very light adding to the Pilsner flavor. Very tasty beer and I like that it was crisp.

On tap at Belmont station. Colour...hazy gold with a foamy white head. Nose...floral and hoppy with spice and biscuits. Palate...nicely frothy with classic pils flavours and a fabulous bitterness all around the palate. The spiciness of the rye really comes through on the finish and the bitterness helps accentuate the rye. Nice take on the pilsener style!

Draft at Sixteen Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a slightly cloudy golden/straw. Fair amount of head. Aroma is biscuity, not much of the rye, really. Body is lively but not overly so, finish starts sweet, with rye coming in at the end, as well as a surprisingly bitter grassiness. Not bad, just not my cup of tea.

On draught at Base Camp. Balanced pilsner with a kick from the rye. Malty and biscuity with a pleasing little hop kick at the end.

Good looking draught beer. Grassy pilsenery aroma. Balanced flavour with a crisp finish. Some little rye spiciness in the flavour. Tastes light enough to be a session beer.
