A: Cloudy straw-gold, drifting white head, a bubbles punctuating the glass.
N: Very grassy, pine, earthiness, bark, and a touch of onion, peppercorn, and grapefruit.
T: Sweet and bitter in proportion; very clean.
M: Light, creamy body, no alcohol, soft carbonation.
O: Quite good. On the forest side of hoppy, but it’s refreshing and clean. A good contender compared to Heater Allen.

Pours cloudy gold with a light frothy head. It has a mildly fruity aroma. It starts off tasting likens wheat beer and the malt blends with the hops towards the end to make this a pleasant and very drinkable beer which is perfect for hot afternoons.

22oz aluminum bottle pours a golden/yellow with a large fluffy white head. Aroma of mild grassy hops, yeast, and malt. Lots of upfront crisp flavor, grassy hops, dry pils malt, light lager yeast, and rye, bitter rye and hop spice drag to the finish. Pretty nice!

Orange/Amber pour with a thick head.
Aroma is bready biscuity Pilsner, decent grassy hop and light rye bread.
Flavour shows more prominent rye character. Some orange marmalade and biscuity malt.

Can. Appearance: slight white head, straw color, cloudy, sediment. Aroma: wheat, citrus, light rye. Palate: light body, average carbonation, dry finish, bitter finish. Taste: sweet wheat into citrus with light pils hops bitterness that is pretty intense. Overall, really nice beer, like the more than traditional bitterness, very good balance. Really enjoyable.

[2/24/15] Draught at Base Camp Brewing in Portland. Slightly hazy yellow. Aroma of diacetyl and a bit of rye. Sweetish buttery flavor with a spicy rye touch and a mildly bitterish finish. Creamy diacetyl mouthfeel.

Tap at Base Camp Brewing, Portland. Colour is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, grain, dryness and malts. Quite impressive pilsner. Much better than average.
