Medium hazy glowing golden with a nice lively head that settles slow. Smells of grains and wet dough. Smooth malted grain great body with little peaks of spicy rye that appear but does not affect how smooth it goes down.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz aluminum bottle- Pours hazy golden with a one finger head that reduces leaving a blanket and thick layered lace. Aroma is spicy rye, crisp and clean, some citrus. Taste is sweet and light malt, mellow rye that becomes more noticeable in the finish, citrus and very refreshing. Best Base Camp I’ve had so far.

22 oz aluminum bottle..very nice packaging.
From Fred Meyer in N.Salem .
Pours a nice glowing golden colour with a large and frothy white head.
Nice noble pils aromas on this one along with crackery malts..there is a slight spiciness from the rye.
Taste is similar to the aroma with the rye oming more to the fore after a few sips..very nice.
Good palate..nice and on style.
I liked this beer a lot, one of the best lagers from Oregon

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Belmont station. Colour...hazy gold with a foamy white head. Nose...floral and hoppy with spice and biscuits. Palate...nicely frothy with classic pils flavours and a fabulous bitterness all around the palate. The spiciness of the rye really comes through on the finish and the bitterness helps accentuate the rye. Nice take on the pilsener style!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 22 ounce aluminum bottle. Great packaging.
Aroma:slight sulfur character from the yeast, musty/earthy, malty/bready, some fruity/spicy hop character
Appearance: Golden straw in color with a long lasting bright white head
Taste: big bready malt character, fruity hops, honey, slight spicy note
Palate: medium bodied, thicker than your traditional pilsner, clean lager fermentation, the rye adds a touch of an oily character
Overall: I found this to be a tasty session lager, i enjoy the rye character though out this beer, malty, hoppy, delicious.

"Can" from Made in Oregon. Pours hazy/translucent gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is lightly rye spicy. Med body or better. Flavor is rye/bready with spice. It’s bready/malty in a very different way. Pretty tasty/drinkable.
