COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Ripstop Rye Pils is our reinterpretation of the classic pilsner lager beer: aromas of European malt and noble-type hops mingle with a dignified, refreshing, and clean malt character that is further distinguished with a generous addition of spicy rye malt, creating a beer that is at once malty, zesty, crisp, hoppy, and incredibly drinkable.

On tap @ Base Camp. Slightly hazed golden pour with white foam. Nice biscuit and bready malts. Somewhat spicy and leafy in terms of the hop profile. Pretty floral and aromatic. There’s a mild bitterness on the back end. Surprising citrus notes towards the finish, too. Good malt flavor and body on this. Easy drinking.

Huge, dense, very regularly formed, just yellowish head, stable, leaving some lace over fully veiled yellow beer. Hint at other grains, faintly spicy-yeasty, hay. Bitter-spicy flavour, yeast, all in check and balanced. Rootspices, dry EU-hops. Longlasting bitterness, old bread in the finish. Very dry; medium bodied, outspoken wheat-like slickness. Far from bad. Not my favourite type of beer, but agreable all the same.

Aluminium bottle, courtesy of deanso. Pours a hazy, nearly headless golden beer. Aroma is rather thin and malty, grainy and lager-ish. Flavour is full for the style, nice bitterness and fruity stuff going on. Aftertaste is long and bitter, it’s a bit strange overall, but decent.

Sampled from the bottle at the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Pours a clear light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a crisp lager yeast with notes of rye and grass. Flavor is quite grassy with a decent amount of rye and a touch of crispness.

Aluminiowa butelka. Gorycz przypomina zioła i grejpfrut. W posmaku cierpkie i gorzkie.
