Doesnít taste much like a símore, but thatís okay. It does taste like a very well made and robust Stout.

"Solid in every category. Not big enough to be decadent, but plenty of roasted malt, chocolate and a marshmallow (taster gets a baby, glass gets a full size) to go around. I thought this was BCs best beer of the 8 we tried, and I was not alone"

Bottle. Clear black body with tan head. Black licorice, chocolatey sweet aromas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sugared up black coffee flavors with black licorice, dark roast malt___lingering bitter dark malt finish---good.

On tap at Base Camp, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a lot of candied notes, caramel, and artificial sweetness. Flavour brings out candy - símores - some artificial sweetness. Really quite nasty and sickly sweet. Not good at all.

22 oz bottle pour. Pours near black with a lasting foamy head. Strong mocha aroma. A lot of chocolate and roasted coffee bean flavor. This doesnít quite stand out as a símore flavored stout, but tastes good either way. Finishes with a bitter roasted malt and more chocolate. Doesnít stand out as a super good stout, but I enjoyed this. Good stuff.

Tap at barhop, Toronto. Pours a dark cherry brown with a tan head. Aroma is sweet vanilla, light coffee, chocolate... Light to medium body, medium carbonation. A touch thin. Vanilla, coffee, chocolate cake, a pleasant dryness which prevents too much sweetness. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At base camp with Steven. Pours black with almost no head. Aroma is malty, chocolate, classic stout aroma. Taste is smooth roasted malt, light sweetness. Not really savory, just still tasty and drinkable for a stout.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is deep brown with a big brown head and great lacing. Roasty malty, marshmallows, graham crackers, grassy, bread, and earthy aroma. Taste is toasted bread, light smoke, dark chocolate, grapefruit hops, graham crackers, and vanilla with a roasted bitter finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Nice stout.

Very very nice. Complex. Starts smoky and with a very rich roastiness, preceded by a surprisingly syrupy pour for the ABV. Slight sweetness in the middle, with a hint of chocolate and, yes, marshmallows. Finishes dry. A+ for all thatís going on here, and it works well.
