On draught at Base Camp, served with a toasted marshmallow. Intense chocolate flavor enhanced by marshmallow aroma.

This was poured into a mug. The appearance was a dark brown color with a one finger off white to tan foamy color with a slow dissipation all around. The smell starts off with sweet milk chocolate, light dark chocolate with a good roastiness all around. Light smoke and vanilla ride in on the balance with subtle dark fruits riding in underneath. The taste takes on a mainly sweet persona through the previously mentioned flavors. Dry semi-nutty and caramel to chocolatey aftertaste runs into a dry sweet chocolatey finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good for a sweet stout. Overall, for my first beer by Base Camp, hey, Iíd say it was pretty good.

Donker, erg dun schuim. Ruikt naar een barrel aged, maar is het niet. Smaakt gebrand, lekker, stout.

Bijna zwarte kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt zoetig, koffie, chocolade, beetje gebrand. Smaakt koffie, gebrand, beetje vanille en koffie.

Pour is a black with a large tan head. Aroma is more of a roasted malt and not much of a chocolate. Flavor is more bitter than sweet with some chocolate. Also a slight rosted malt and a thin mouth feel for a stout. Not getting a smores aspect out of this. This is an ok stout with a decent roast and chocolate malt I was just expecting more of the chocolate to show since this is supposted to be a take on smores. Cool aluminum bottle

Bottle. Black, thin lacing head. Moderately sweet. Some lactose possibly, roasted but not burnt malt. Some cocoa. Some sugar but not too much. Decent beer.

Pour is dark cola color with a caramel colored head. Nose is heavy fusel alcohol, plastic, stale graham cracker, faint hints of dark malt. Flavor is burnt, bitter, plastic, fusel alcohol burn in the back, some fudgy malt but watered down, thin bodied, bitterness lingers.

Love the aluminum bottle. Doesn't taste like snores but delicious none the less. Really enjoyed this one. Light bodied, but still flavorful. Strong chocolate flavor.

Dark brown body, brown head, some retention, some lacing. Roasty malts, vanilla, and marshmallow aroma, warm, but overall a bit too faint. Taste is semi-sweet, with a medicinal roasty bitter aftertaste. Overall, not completely successful but enjoyable nevertheless.

Sampled at GABF 2015 with Andrew, Mel and Frank. Pours a deep brown body with tan lacing. Aroma is burnt roast. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of alcohol and roast. Despite being served along side freshly toasted marshmellows via blow torch at GABF, the beer was super underwhelming.

Bottle/can from Liquor Outlet. Very dark in color. Pitch black in my goblet. Slick looking with low foam. Very dry roasted coffee nose. Roasted coffee up front with a little bit of sweetness. Very roasty with an interesting sweet note in the backend. Pretty rich and tasty. Not sure about the smores, but a tasty stout regardless.
