3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aluminum bomber. Roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate, coffee and smoke. Pours almost black with a large light brown head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt flavors as well as a lot of smoke. Finishes dry and smooth with coffee and chocolate flavors. Nice stout.

Opaque, black, covering lace.
Full body, smoth texture, flavorful, refreshingouthfeel, long palate.
Bitter, not too dry, right acidity, nice balance.
Roasty, coffee, cannot detect much more.
Good, pretty standard.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours almost black from a 22-oz metal bomber, sticky almond head with nice, clingy lacing. Nose of coffee, dark chocolate, char; fainter notes of burnt marshmallow, dark fruit, bread, and wood. Taste is roast coffee, Bakerís chocolate, too bitter and smoky to really represent a Símore stout in my opinion. Malty sweetness right at the end, but not nearly enough. Itís not a bad brew at all, just left to wonder what could have been if it was a little sweeter and those IBUs were cut in half...

22 oz metal bottle shared by drsordr. Pours dark brown to black in color with a medium sized khaki colored head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, earthy bitterness, decent beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
65cl steel bottle. Dark brown with small beige head. The beer has a dark chocolate, cappuccino, ash, strong molasses and some orange peel aroma. Mouth feel is oily and creamy with very delicate carbonation. The beer is sweet like molasses, brown sugar and gets more and more roasted with notes of ash. It also leaves earthy, ashy acidity.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz aluminum can. Unique packaging which I could get behind, if only to reduce the size a bomber takes up in my fridge or cooler backpack. Aroma and taste are very chocolate forward. Dark, Hershey syrup like chocolate. Slight graham cracker, no marshmallow.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hint of coffee in the jet black pour. Hint of coffee in the body too - but not enough to make a balanced brew (to my taste at least). Probably better than Iím rating - but the lower strength stout I just had previously was way better.
