3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Allen (2469) - - OCT 15, 2009
Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of Bov. It pours a hazy amber beer with a nicely lasting, beautifully lacing white head. Impressive strong aroma of blood orange, homemade caramel, papaya, smoke, great hops, burnt caramel and marshmallows. Sweet, extremely fruity, yeasty taste with a lot happening. Strong carbonation. Surprisingly full bodied. Slight bitterness. Blood orange, papaya, raspberry and caramel appearing. Indeed, the lacework is beautiful. A lot of residual sugars in the finish which is yeasty, faintly smoky and reminiscent of raspberry. Very full bodied (over the top) and tasty for a 4.3 ABV beer. Plenty of character- a great beer. Thanks a lot Bov!
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Koelschtrinker (7034) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 2, 2011
Stimmig! 10/9/9/11/9/9
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - APR 15, 2005
Hazy golden color; nice head. The hoppy aroma is fruity and quite nice. There is some good malt in the taste, good hoppiness, quite aromatic; well balanced, with notes of sweet caramel and very light hop fruitness. It has just some yeast touch that introduces a light metallic note in the end. A nice try. Thanks Philippe (Bov) for this bottle.

UPDATED: SEP 19, 2009 from baesibraeu.ch - pours a cloudy orange colour with a persistent white foam; slightly dusty aroma with notes of bitter oranges; quite creamy palate, medium-bodied, a fair bitterness and a dry fruity and slightly corny finish; a bit astringent - a good beer
hazy blond colour, fine creamy head, moderate hoppy nose with notes of orange peel and an unmissable homebrew-like touch (fermentation problems ?), sweet and medium-bodied with a low bitterness, the finish is malty and a bit fruity with some residual sugars ƕ/4/5/2/8)
