Barrel Draught from the jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 29/09/2005 Golden coloured and hoppy. Crisp on the palate with a ginger flavour finish.

6/25/05 Garden State Brewfest. Like the name. The little bit of ginger kick kept me interested in this beer. Otherwise it’s kind of uneventful. Something fun to try but not to drink regularly.

GABF 2005: Golden hue with a big head. The aroma was grassy, bready and wheaty. The taste is a bit twangy and some fruity notes. A nice spice finish crept in and made a boring beer much better.

Great name and decent beer. On tap at Garden State Brewfest. Spice evident, though beer was no longer that cold by the end of the day. I will want to enjoy this under more optimal conditions.

06.25.05 Tap @ Red Bank. Hazy burnished brass color below sticky, lacing white head. Mildly fruitish aromas, winterberry, lemongrass, candied ginger. Nice spicy palate matched by a tingle of ginger-filled effervescence. Unusual beer, great balance of beer and spice, and plenty of fizz to keep the mouthfeel lithe. The best beer of the day, for sure.
