Tap at the brewpub. Dark brown, tan head. Roasty malty aroma and flavor. Notes of carmel as well. Dry malty finish. This is a very well made porter, although there is nothing new here.

Drink the stout. This is a thinish Porter with a bland, slightly burnt toast taste. No real excitment here.
