Basil Ts Hooper Nut Brown Ale

On tap at Basil Ts Toms River. Poured a deep dark chestnut brown with a flat body and a light tan creamy head. Aroma was off with some metalic notes and alcohol even though it’s only 4.5%. Flavor was much better with a nutty flavor, reminded me of Sam Smith, and a thin flat body. I wonder if this would be better if the aroma was on?

Hooper Nut Brown-on tap-pours a tan head with clear dark brown color. Aroma is coffee. Taste is good nutty, lightly coffee, good carbonation. Not my taste.
