The waitress really didn’t have a clue about this beer, maybe because she drank some and couldn’t taste/smell anything. Talk about a subpar beer. Not much aroma, not much flavor, not much alcohol. Weak seems to be the best description at this attempt at a Scottish Ale and as Scottsman I do say it’s crap!! willblake (2194), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

It was presented to me as a lighter brown ale, so I had to guess. Pale brassy color a bit like a cream soda with a fading white head. Aroma was overrun with diacetyl, but beneath that were notes of earth, moss, and touches of wet wood. Weird stuff, this, as it flirted with sticky malt on the palate but had an otherwise light and overly effy body that fights the stickiness with a woody astringency. jcwattsrugger (5583), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Aroma is malt, scotch, hops. Taste is malt, hops with some bite. Creamy, but with a slick mouthfeel. A hint of scotch flavor. Nice. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA
