Commercial Description:
Ms. Lucy's is a filtered America-style Wheat Beer made with 30% malted wheat to give it a refreshingly clean character. Blonde in color and lightly hopped to allow the flavors of the grains to come through.

Clear golden beer with very minimal haze. The head is small, white and slowly diminishes. Indeed wheaty nose, but kinda cidery, almost celery-like. Minimal banana notes. Kinda fresh, but very simple and a bit overly tart. Very light-bodied. A small flowery touch from the saaz fits, but the following limey finish seems exaggerated. A very thin example of dubious filtration.

06.25.05 Tap @ Red Bank. Pale straw with thin white head. Grainy. Something of a mild peppery bite that’s surprising. Hints of bubblegum. Dumbed down version of a typical American bp wheat.

On tap at the Basil T’s Brew Pub. Poured a light, see through yellow color with no head. Aromas and tastes of some wheat. Lighlty sweet with a very light hop presence at the finish.

Tap at the brewery. Pale yellow and cloudy with a slight white lasting head. Fruity aroma with slight peppery notes. Flavor is light with a nice balance of noble hops and light malts. OK light brew with a little character. It is welll done.
