Ms. Lucy's is a filtered America-style Wheat Beer made with 30% malted wheat to give it a refreshingly clean character. Blonde in color and lightly hopped to allow the flavors of the grains to come through.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Wheaty aroma with some light hoppy notes. The flavor has wheat, straw, and light floral notes. Not bad.

Pours straw colored from tap with not a ton of lacing. Not a lot of aroma but got a hint of wheat on the tongue. Lots of carbonation on the the tongue. Feels like someone snuck some alka-seltzer in my beer.

sample: honestly, this beer represents the full sample that I had at this place... sub par at best. Nothing about this stood out enough to note...

Draft at Basil Ts. Pours a clear yellow. Not very much aroma. Taste is pretty simple - very refreshing and clearly an easy session brew.

Clean golden pour with white creamy head and lace. Good maltiness on the nose. Wheat malt with a nice lite bitter. Good carbonation and mouthfeel very clean another nice beer from these folks.

Rastacouere (5919) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 28, 2007
Clear golden beer with very minimal haze. The head is small, white and slowly diminishes. Indeed wheaty nose, but kinda cidery, almost celery-like. Minimal banana notes. Kinda fresh, but very simple and a bit overly tart. Very light-bodied. A small flowery touch from the saaz fits, but the following limey finish seems exaggerated. A very thin example of dubious filtration.

06.25.05 Tap @ Red Bank. Pale straw with thin white head. Grainy. Something of a mild peppery bite that’s surprising. Hints of bubblegum. Dumbed down version of a typical American bp wheat.

Tap at the brewery. Pale yellow and cloudy with a slight white lasting head. Fruity aroma with slight peppery notes. Flavor is light with a nice balance of noble hops and light malts. OK light brew with a little character. It is welll done.
