Flavor is a good balance between carmel malts and hops. Well done. jcwattsrugger (4272), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jul 23, 2005 Updated: Jan 15, 2007on tap-pours a white head, color is clear amber, looks like this should be good. Good carbonation. Taste is mild grain, then a little bite. Not what I had hoped for here either.
-rerate 3.3 much more in line with what I expected last time. A good balance of medium malt and some bite to the hops.
-rerate 3.7 freekyp (840), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA Oct 31, 2002 Updated: Jan 20, 2003I felt that this Amber was more akin to a Marzen. High malt in the front, slight lingering bitterness on the follow through. Only dissapointment was the complete lack of head.
