Rastacouere (5202), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 28, 2007 Good-looking, bright faded golden, clear and topped by a lasting and lacing off-white head. Flowery, citrusy and aromatic, fresh cascades offer a certain spiciness to the lively nose. The underlying bready malts offer an excellent support, the mouthfeel is supple and soft. The carbonation is cleansing, yet not too pointy. Well executed pale ale, tasting very fresh – and refreshing. Clean and pleasant. Thaichile (570), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA Jun 5, 2006 Tap. Pours an amber colour with not much head. No discernable hop aromas, but some fruit on the nose. Flavor reminiscent of apricots with some hop notes in the background and a somewhat dry, bitter finish. This was the best of the beers I had at Basil T’s, but they were pretty mediocre. jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jul 23, 2005 Updated: Dec 31, 2006on tap-Pours a gold color. Aroma is hops, which gave me higher expectations than this beer then delivered. Mild flavor with a bite.
