Basilius is een donker koperkleurig bier van 7% alc. VOL. Dit dorstlessend bier haalt zijn zachte karamelaroma’s uitsluitend uit de gebruikte gerstmouten. 04/03/2016 @home - 33c bottle bought from brewer @ BAB. Hazy red brown with creamy tanned head. Nose is dark malts, caramel. Taste is malty, caramel, some roast, a bit nuts, bitter, no sweeteness coming through. Nice

Bottle at Comptoir Des Arts, Brugge. Hazy brown with an off white head. Aroma of yeast, caramel, light nutty notes, malt and light sweet overripe dark fruit. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ Vlaamse Reus. Copper coloured, beige foamy head. Nose is caramel malts, grassy, creamy, light grainy. Flavour is caramel, creamy, malty, grainy. Candy sugar. Soft mouth feel. Dont get the Amarillo. Soft carbonation. Ok drinkable.

Bottle in Bruges. Poured a hazy amber, with a dense white head. Aroma of spice, caramel and Belgian yeast. Biscuity malt flavours, with candy sugar and tinned fruit. Finish was dry grain, straw and burnt sugar.
