Filtered, pasteurised, force-carbonated and bottled version of the cask ale. Was known as "Our Finest Ale", is now called "Premium Ale".

Tap, bottle, can. The best way to drink a Bass is from the cask. From the keg it’s terrible. If you can’t get cask-conditioned Bass, then the bottle is the next best way to go. Pours nice with a nice, creamy head. Nice copper colour. A tiny bit of an aftertaste, but nothing too offensive.

copper and bread like elements to its indital aroma. My Bass poured out of the glass with a good deal of head but this vanished quickly. the taste is a bit bitter but light...maybe a bit thin in body for my taste. A solid pale ale aftertaste is experienced upon completion. Not great but better than most mass produced ales

Bottle at blind tasting. Copper colour. Not sure but could be pasteurised. Some cereal flavour. A bit dull. British bitter I would guess. Some herby hop. Hey, I got 2 things right. Its a British bitter and it was pasteurised.

Tap. Light reddish-orange, not much head. Thick and slick. Strange bitter-tangy-bready taste that I can’t really describe well, but that I like by virtue of it tasting different than most beers I’ve had.

My dad loves bass, and i have to say it is high on my list of nice tasting bitters my dad used to give me as a kid, hehe. Id recommend it to anyone who aint drunk it before, or dont know what bitter tastes like,

Coppery color, fastly vanishing white head. Apple, sweetness and honey in aroma, not very usual for bitter. Thin bodied, too thin. Mildly sweet and apple flavor, ends with some bitterness. Honey and surprisingly mild alcohol in aftertaste.

Not bad, my only complaint is that the taste of alcohol is evident and overpowering in this beer.

(Canned) Clear amber color with a small, tigh head. Fruity-honeyish apple aroma. Somewhat fruity, sweetish flavor with some malt and oakiness. Medium-bodied, medium-everything palate with smooth carbonation? Another boring British ale, although very easily drinkable and reasonably refreshing.
