An average bottled ale, almost no head, not much flavour, and not very bitter. Pleasant enough to drink, clean taste, probably good for summer.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2011 Bass can 440ml 4.4% ABV Pours an amber body with a thinnish white head. Ap3 Ar5 Yeast, malt, nuts, hops, mild citrus, fruity. Ta5 Tangy and bittersweet, some artificial tastes and dustiness. Some harsh alcoholic burn Pa3 Dry, sweetish finish. Ov10 A bit thin given its strength. Weird artificial taste due to it being from a can. There’s no need to settle for this when there’s a lot better out there.

Thin, a bit metallic, yet good with food and a nice go-to beer when you find yourself in an establishment that is not so beerticulate.

Can. Dark copper in colour, creamyish white head. Slightly herby hop nose with a caramel maltiness. Sweet and fruity flavours and a metallic edge with a decent bitter finish. Somewhat fizzy mouthfeel. There’s nothing wrong here; it’s a solid British bitter: uncomplicated and to the point, but lacks anything of real interest.
