2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
It poured a gentle light amber yielding the same color body. Though a clear body, no carbonation was seen rising. A soft foamy hilly one inch head formed and slowly concaved into the body. Lacing was left in rings around the pint glass. The smell was malts up front, hops very subdued in a slightly soapy bland sort of sense. The taste was the same and coming across in the same bland sort of way. The palate was light with some mediocre sharpness around the tongue, and a bland stickiness. This was extremely drinkable. Overall, it was very bland all around, not one that I would come back to.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle, shared by Dave. Thin off-white head. Couple bits of lace. Kind of a flat english malt flavor. Caramel malts, little grassy hop. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of crisp texture. More dry in the finish. Light bitter taste. Alright IPA, better than expected

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle to snifter. Looks solid; a transparent brownish-orange with thin off-white lacing. Smells sweet and hoppy. Tastes like it smells, but blander, with an average (at best) mouthfeel. Meh.

2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Enjoyable beer to drink. I shouldnít have had allowed myself to get overly excited about this when I saw it. Itís basically what youíd expect from a macro brewery. Goes down smoothly and doesnít offer much in terms of hops or bite that youíd expect from an IPA.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle pours with a crystal clear copper body and gold edges supporting a thin white head. The aroma offers up some biscuit like malts, a faint whiff of fruity esters, earthy minerals and a hop note maybe (well, somehow Iím not sure Iím smelling any hops). The taste, at times, seems like a hopped up standard Bass Ale with mineral notes, a light roasted maltiness, biscuit malts and before the expected Bass Ale sweetness kicks in this one gets bitter with pine hops to pine nuanced grapefruit citrus hops. The sweeter malty side of this beer brings back memories of beer drinking in the early 90ís but this is also bringing a pleasing hoppiness too. Cool experience.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours deep clear gold into a shaker. Off-white head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Dusty caramel and sour resin aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and sourdough upfront turning to mild earthy bitterness in the medium length finish.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a nice bronze with a two inch beige head that lasts. Taste is of malt, caramel, hops, citrus, grapefruit, grass and bread. Has a hoppy and malt nose. Has a decent body that is a bit creamy. Easy to drink and rather enjoyable.

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Smells like really old malt liquor in a can. Taste is big dull rudeness. Taste is much larger than 6%. Not your typical fresh American ipa fer sure, think old world. Almost cloying at times.Difficult finish. Not impressed.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle @ home picked up at Wilburís Fort Collins during Anheuser-Bush night. Pours a clear, rust orange appearance with a big, cream colored head. Fairly malty, caramel, light toffee, a touch herbal, fairly earthy aroma. Somewhat richly sweet burnt caramel malty, fairly sweet, earthy Fuggles hoppy flavor. Light fruitiness. Overall, not my favorite but not as bad as I expected.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear deep golden color with a decent sized white head that persists. Smells of earthy hops and aged malts. The flavor holds caramel and brown sugar mixed with a hints of dark fruits a bit of earth and sulfur. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick somewhat bitter mouthfeel. Pedestrian IPA even for an English version. I could drink this, but with so many better choices, why would I?
