23rd September 2011 Bottle from Bier Koning. Solo hungover tasting in my hotel room! Clear amber beer, small off white head. Palate is slightly soft, good carbonation. Well balanced. Quite strong pale malt with marmalade orange hop. Light minerals. Dry finish. Decent and tastes authentically old fashioned!

25cl bottle. Pours a light brown with a small eggshell head. Nose : Caramel and malts. Some little cherry. Sip : Almost oily body with a nice carbonation. Sweet and malty with small bitter hops ending. Decent pale ale no more no less.

I had a bottle at a restaurant bar in Maryland. It has an amber color and musty aroma but tasted good. Kept reaching for another sip.

Nice lightly roasted malty smell. Amber colour. Likewise flavour. Slight hint of honey.

Dieses Bier schmeckt im Mittelteil recht malzig, im Nachgeschmack fruchtig werdend. In sofern nichts neues, wie auch meine Vortester beschrieben haben. Kann man trinken - man kanns auch lassen.

250ml bottle, 5% abv, from a local kiosk. Bubbly patches at the top of a clear, golden body. Roasted, almost burnt, malty smell. Brittle caramel malts in flavour. Smooth ending. OK plus (hotel room, Brugge 03.05.2011).
