Golden with a white head - Malts in the aroma, with hints of hops - Malt body with hints of caramel and some hops with some bitterness - Malt and some hop bitterness in the finish - This was ok, a little bit on the malty side for an esb

Light orange clear pour. Some hop character but not much. Some mild malts but not much. Not a drain pour but I only drink when itís free at the craps table.

This is a mild beer, under hopped, with a slight malt taste. It has a small head and light body.

Nothing much to write home about. A mass produced English version of a light English ale. Drinks fine.

Pours a beautiful copper color with a nice lingering head. Not much lacing, but the color is great. Very clear, and clean appearance.

Aroma is definitely of banana, and of roasted malt. I can also smell some caramel in there too. It smells really good.

Almost right away, you can taste the artificial banana in here. But thereís also some honey and caramel in the taste. The honey is a bit surprising. I do taste some medium roasted malt, but itís not very strong.

Mouthfeel is a medium body. The hops leave some bitterness. It lingers. Itís a little more bitter than most beers. But with the taste and aroma quality of this beer, it helps the drinkability.

Overall, I really like this. This is the first time Iíve had any beer of this brand, and Iím pleasantly surprised. It is delicious! I hope all Bass beers are this good!

BOTTLE 355 CL. BB NOV-2015. Brewed in UK, 5,1% BAV. Smells and tastes like a macro-lager - some pale malts, a touch of vague boiled fruit, sweaty hops, dirty bitter and astringent finish. Crap.

This is a beer that one must get used to, your first one will taste, well really bitter, the 2nd one better, and within a few weeks, you will really tell the flavor. Pale Aleís are ordered as bitters in the United Kingdom. This beer is served best around 50F. I nice aroma although a bit strong. The olden bitter appearance canít be beat. Itís not a beer/ale you want right after exercising for working out but a great beer just for watching the game. This also one beer if you can find it on tap, itís often better then the bottle.

Pours amber from 12 oz bottle "product of the USA," thin white head. Sweet malty aroma. Taste dominated by bittering hops, not much else. Average body with high carbonation. Decent but undoubtedly not the real Bass.
