3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dmschefke (560) - Macomb, Michigan, USA - JUN 2, 2009Pours a nice slightly amber orange with thick white head. Aroma strong of malt, slight hops. Ah screw it, this is a pretty decent brew. I am only rating it because I don’t have any other options besides a couple better macros. When options are slim, definitely a go-to brew.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Imaena (1066) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Draught and bottle. Having had a few versions of this I think the US version is the thinest and least rounded - in particular on the malt front.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Welley_Alves (118) - Sao Paulo, BRAZIL - JUN 2, 2013
Boa ESB americana. Cor âmbar, com pequena formacao de espuma. No nariz, herbáceo pouco evidente, contrabalançando com o malte torrado. Na boca, amargor agradável, equilibrado com o dulçor do malte a seguir. Retrogosto amargo suave. Ótima drinkability. Boa breja!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 hfmejias (397) - Dover, Delaware, USA - JUN 1, 2013
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours dark amber with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma of grain, and caramel from malts. Taste is nice and bitter combined with some caramel malty sweetness. Overall a nice very drinkable beer.
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 tapthis (44) - Texas, USA - MAY 31, 2013
Its a decent pale ale, they seem to have gotten the hops spot on with the flavor. A fruity aroma was detected. No head or lacing. I use this for a quick and cheap black and tan when I am in the mood and not much else
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 EtTuCthulhu (461) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - MAY 29, 2013
The color of this beer is a reddish orange with a small white head, and the aroma smells like dough yeast, bready malts, and a touch of caramel malts. The taste is mildly sour and a touch bitter, and the palate combines a medium body, soft carbonation, sour finish, and a slick texture, which merely exists without really standing out or making itself known.

Serving: from tap at Doyle’s Public House.
Aroma: horse blanket.

Taste: lightly malty initial flavor and lightly acidic finish with average duration.
Palate: light bodied with oily texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: average.

Good classic ale taste. This is one of my favorite beers. Reminds me of when I was first learning to enjoy great beer.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Ret12 (404) - Maryland, USA - MAY 17, 2013
I thought this was a decent beer, a little lighter than I had expected due to the dark apperance. Slightly bitter with a weak hop character.
