jimmack34 (560), Lancaster, Ohio, USA Feb 22, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours copper orange with a small off white head. Smells grainy and metalic. Tastes like bread, mildly fruity, sour and bitter. Has a very typical brittish beer flavor, like tea and kinda nutty, also creamy. Pretty nice beer. Changed (161), Ithaca, New York, USA Feb 20, 2009 12oz. Never rated because I usually only drink it when getting drunk. Of course: pours pale orange, fluffy head. Light on taste, easy to drink. Perfect for mixing black and tans. Barreras (121), Diamond Bar, California, USA Feb 16, 2009 Good old stand by. Always available on tap or bottle. Amber color with foamy head if poured correctly, with mild bitterness A good everyday drinking pale ale beer jamvin23 (162), chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 15, 2009 Bottle and Tap. Decent pale ale with some bitterness.definitely an everyday drinker. BroSpud (583), , Massachusetts, USA Feb 15, 2009 Many on draft. Many from bottle. I don’t drink these all that often nowadays but gotta give it some love. This was one of the good ones back in the days when good beer was scarce. When I used to home brew I would use Bass as a reference point. This one is a classic. joeyplush (328), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 8, 2009 Draft - Dark horse tavern, Philly.

T2Tool (352), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA Feb 8, 2009 I didn’t even realize I had never rated this beer. Had on draft. Poured an amber color with a caramel malt aroma. Nice malty flavor with a very mild bitter finish. PaulHegedus (458), Georgetown, Ontario, Canada Feb 5, 2009 Draught. This is an amber colour with a small white head and very little carbonation. The aroma is a bit fruity with some caramel malt then hints of cherry. Flavour has a strong malt profile with more caramel, some brown bread, honey and water. The bitter finish is very light.
