UPDATED: APR 24, 2011 After the second try, I can say it isn’t too bitter and is drinkable. It pours a deep amber with minimal white head. It’s dominated by malts and is relatively flat. Overall not my first choice on tap.

Amber body, cream-toned head with foamy lacing. Sweet malty aroma, hint of hops. Thin mouthfeel. Very drinkable. Nice balanced malt-forward flavor with a pleasant and mild hoppy finish.

On tap at Fox and Hound on Gulf fwy in Houston Tx in a Pint Glass. A light amber hew with a thin white head. Smells of malt and floral hops. The taste is a little thin, but pleasant. Mostly a sweet maltiness with a hint of bitter to balance it out. Pleasant to drink, moderate ABV, inexpensive and easy to get. A good session beer.
