Bottle. Poured amber with foamy white head. Light malty aroma with a bit of citrus. Malty flavour, some bitter edge and then a juiciness. Lingering finish with some tannin.

(Tap) Pours a bright golden color with a medium white head. Light crisp hop in the aroma. Taste is a little muted, but includes some grain, light tannins and biscuit. A decent amount of hoppiness to finish it out as well. Creamy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. I usually order this when decent alternatives are limited at certain bars.

i must be a retard to not have rated this yet. I enjoy this beer....when Guinness is mixed in it! Well actually it is fair enough if nothing better is avail. Amber pour with aroma of malt and some hops. Grainy in the nose. Flavor is a tad bitter with some smooth malts. Pretty ok.

Clear, pure gold appearance with a thick white head. Aroma is nicely balanced of hops, malts and yeast. Flavor is definitely good. Balanced beautifully between hops of the citrus and pine styles, barley, malts of sugar and fruit, and also yeast. Palate is smooth and warm bodied with a nice bitter finish. Lovely beer.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Total Wine in Kennesaw, Georgia. Appearance: Pours a clear, amber body with a frothy, white head. Smell: Smells a bit metallic upfront with a faint, meager maltiness and slight fruitiness. Taste: Thin, cheap, sweetish malts. Lightly fruity. Never really delivers much in the way of hops or bitterness. But thankfully it’s all over before you know it. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. A tad watery. Drinkability: The thumb points down! Painfully bland and generic.

The site just deleted my review of this as I was trying to enter it, so here it is again, but shorter. Strangely unique, a bit out of balance, not the best representative of an ESB (almost tastes like it is brewed with Belgian candi sugar), light bodied with a bit to much carbonation for my liking. Still (overall) it is a decently enjoyable beer but I don;t think I will ever buy it again unless Macro lagers are my only other options.

Nice looking amber pour, as the description says it is bitter, but a faint bitter offset nicely by some citrus, faintly nutty, smooth finish. A must too have this on tap, a must.
