Bottle. Pours an amber color with a good size off-white head. Sweet biscuity aroma dominates. Flavor is very malty with hints of corn and grain. Not bad, but I don’t see myself drinking this often.

On tap June 17, 2009. Amber color with moderate off-white head. Caramel, slightly sweet malts. Above average, but nothing hits me as setting this beer apart.

Bottle. 5.2%. Clear amber color with a medium beige head. Aroma of bready, a bit caramelly, malt, some hops and some fruity notes. Sweetish malty flavor with toasted malt, some nuts, grainy hints, and mild bitter hoppiness in the finish. Mouthfeel is quite watery.

bottle, pours light amber with a thin off white head. Carmel malt and light cascade nose. Full sweet malt body, finishes dry with a light hop bitterness. Moderate to high carbonation. Tasty.

CUJO (383) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - JUN 3, 2009
Leahy’s; split pitcher with Pwn3d: Everything you expect from Bass - consistent amber color, white heads varies on the strength of the pour. Aroma isn’t too complex, malts and sugars. Taste is not too complex either, a watery hop. It’s a staple beer that’s easily drank.

Only thing on tap. Poured reddish with a white head. Aroma of caramel. Some sweet malt. Plain and boring. Watery.

Pours a nice slightly amber orange with thick white head. Aroma strong of malt, slight hops. Ah screw it, this is a pretty decent brew. I am only rating it because I don’t have any other options besides a couple better macros. When options are slim, definitely a go-to brew.
