Bottle, Copper pour with thin head. Slight malty caramel aroma. Mild hop and malty taste a little thin for me but ok.

I like Bass. It has a decent ale flavor, though a little on the thin side. Doesn’t have the bite that I look for in an ale. Instead, it’s a little soapy, but still has a smooth flavor and tastes good going down. No off-putting after glow.

Bottle poured in a pint glass. Beer poured an amber color with a minimal head. The aroma reminded me slightly of toast and leaves. It had a light body and thin texture with a very slight bitterness in the aftertaste. I wish this beer had a bit more kick(bitterness) to it. I expected it to have a bit more flavor than what it did.

On tap at Sloppy Joe’s in west end Toronto. 1st of a fresh keg and I could tell the difference. Nice bouquet of floral, fruity yeast. Orange amber with foamy white head. The taste was more intense than I’ve had there previously. Very nice blend of fruity, floral yeast with surprising body for a 5%. Nice carbonation.

I was surprised by this beer; it actually had some character. Poured a light golden amber with a frothy head. Had a good, clean hoppy flavor; but less bitter than I anticipated-- I would drink this as is or as a bottom dweller in a black& tan.

From bottle. Weak aroma. Clear light amber colour with a thin dissipating lace. This beer was 5% in alcohol, I would never have guessed. Weak in hops, very thin with a hint of honey. Poor beer. Water really.

A classic looking ale - clear amber with a decent head that left a layer throughout. Subtle aroma of malts, bread and hops. Taste is similar but the hops come through a bit more intensely. Medium bodied, good carbonation, well balanced with slight bitterness in the aftertaste.
