GuinnessGal (59), Virginia, USA Mar 12, 2008 Nice, strong aroma and appearance. The flavor is not as strong as the aroma leads you to believe. Finishes with a small bitter bite.

Amber-copper color, decent white head. Nutty menthol aroma. Pale malty, slightly toffeish and nutty ale. Watery! Ale if you don’t like to drink ales. Very much overrated in RB. dlovell2 (136), Columbia, Maryland, USA Mar 5, 2008 Golden Color. Hops aroma. Smooth Light hops taste, caramel with Fruity, apples finish. oreogobbler (216), Austin, Texas, USA Mar 5, 2008 Pours a dark amber brown, well carbonated, with a thin bubbly head. Sour and bland aroma, very metallic. Sour lemon zest flavor and bland hops. Palate is smooth but dry and unbalanced. Taverner (825), San Ramon, California, USA Mar 5, 2008 Very bland beer, almost sour. No hops, no bite. This is better than Bud or Coors, but not by much. Oscbert (531), Sacramento, California, USA Mar 3, 2008 ~Pours a see thru amber colour. Lots of carbonation. Little to no head.
~ Malts dominate the nose. Some nuttiness and spice. Sugary scent.
~ Dry nutty taste. Not as sweet tasting as it smells, which is good.
~Palate is dry. Hardly any aftertaste.
~ Overall this is a decent beer. A bit bland, but pleasant.
VitaminR (421), Colorado, USA Mar 1, 2008 Some sweet fruit. Very nice amber color, thin but full head. Fruity sweet malt, almost like a Helles beer, but lacks the complexity. Low carbonation, and a bitter (too bitter) finish. DaveB (73), Holyoke, Massachusetts, USA Feb 28, 2008 On tap at a wedding Yankee Peddlar. Dark amber with a medium head. Mild coffee taste. Not a bad beer. Would drink it again.
