Badabing (21), West Virginia, USA Feb 3, 2008 Good BBQ beer. Goes down smooth nice flavor. One of my top 20 or so. A little high in price but hey it’s an import what would you expect. GangGreen712 (44), Woodstock Valley, Connecticut, USA Jan 30, 2008 Good tasting beer overall. While it’s really nothing special, it’s available just about every place you go, so if all else fails, this is a good choice. Hudspart (371), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA Jan 29, 2008 Bottle: Pretty good beer that is easy to find. Pours amber with a good head. Little bitterness. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jan 26, 2008 Not sure that Bass is all that great, pours a decent amber color, but the flavor is lacking. I was not impressed. DWestrick (234), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Jan 22, 2008 Updated: Feb 15, 2008Nice color for a pale ale. A good beer that is common at bars/stores. A good relax with friends beer. Can’t go wrong with and perfect when mixed with Guiness for the classic black and tan CCGodwin (19), Hollywood, California, USA Jan 20, 2008 Updated: Jan 23, 200812 oz. bottle. Pours a copper color with a little more brown than true copper. Very nice looking. Off white, small head. Aroma did not make me want to drink it, or not drink it. Light feel, thin, but still somewhat satisfying. Nice bitterness, but a bit too much plastic and metal taste. Overall, a decent session beer that you can buy anywhere. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA Jan 20, 2008 Updated: Dec 22, 2008Great beer!! Goes down smooth and has a slightly nutty flavor. Not much of a head. One of my all time favorites. Gregis (1132), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Jan 19, 2008 Pours a clear, pale copper with a loose, ivory head. The nose is of pale, bready malt with a slightly phenolic note in the background. The mouthfeel is fairly light-bodied and thin with a clean but lightly metallic finish. The flavor is of bready, pale malt, a touch of caramel and a bit of a dry plastic at the quick finish. This is a decent transition beer, easily available just about anywhere and with a better flavor profile than the typical macro lager. In comparison to other examples of this style, however, this is an entirely mediocre brew.
