dimenhetfield (157), , Florida, USA Sep 14, 2009 It’s a good bitter to start with if you’ve never tried one before. It’s not "big" and not overpowering. It gives you a good sense of whats to come, if you choose to drink bitter beers. Enjoyable and fresh. Shakesbeere (52), Massachusetts, USA Sep 11, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Golden amber pour with sizable white head. Smells like a pale ale -- some cascade/american hops with some citrus and grain elements. Flavor is of malts, hops, and citrus fruit. Ends on a crisp bitter note. It’s okay, not great. DarkSong (101), Dacula, Georgia, USA Sep 11, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a deep golden reddish color with a small white head. It has a nice malt and honey like aroma. It has a nice clean malty taste with a pleasant bitter aftertaste. This is a very nice beer in my opinion. haggis03a3 (132), Piedmont, California, USA Sep 9, 2009 Clear light amber with a nice white head. Fruity, citrus, earthy, caramel, ,malty. It is mild and balanced if a bit watery. Very drinkable and pleasant. crabcakes (19), Duluth, Minnesota, USA Sep 3, 2009 Most people in the states know Bass as the other ingredient to a Black and Tan. I actually prefer Bass to Guinness. It is a smooth and crisp ale that is not overpowering in its use of hops. Stellaaaa (57), Tennessee, USA Aug 29, 2009 This beer pours a golden amber with a light white head. It has an aroma of sweet malt with little hops on the olfactory. It tastes of sweet malt, again with little hops, but is not overpoweringly sweet. This is a good beer. marcus (1821), Sacramento, California, USA Aug 27, 2009 This clear copper ale poured with a large off-white head and a pale malt aroma. This is a decent british session beer with a good malt base and a balanced hop bitterness. Finhead (55), Illinois, USA Aug 25, 2009 Clear amber color with white head. Slight wheat and hops aroma. Taste is pretty clean with a watery texture. Lightly bitter aftertaste.
