One of my current favorites. Pours an amber color with a white head. The nose is amazing, beautiful caramel malt and slightly nutty. The entry is excellent. The carbonation is apparent at first and carries the malty flavor to every edge of your mouth. Tastes slightly sweet at first but leaves a slightly bitter finish, which in turn, is a perfect time to take another sip. A great, tasty, refreshing beer for a hot day or to accompany a steak.

Very plain and typical english bitter. A pale brown colour with a medium sized frothy head. From bottle at Bottlescrew Bills, Calgary,AB. Aroma of nuts and caramel hops. Overall, a pretty good beer and a great crisp taste.

English pale ale at it’s most typical... or most typically mass produced? Good question. This was from a bottle. Amber pour with slightly off white head. Malty and mild, with hop presence, but certainly not like an American pale ale. Has that English yeast/malt flavor. Very drinkable, but nothing astounding.

Pleasantly surprised by this beer. Poured a darkish amber color with a thick off white head that lasted most of the glass. Flavor was fairly mild and not over powering. Sufficient body in the taste

This is a very good english ale. It is different from most pale ale in it’s flavor and finish.

Pours dark translucent amber with a lot of red tint.. Small dirty head. Heavy caramel and sugar aroma. A little burnt hickory in there too. Mildly thin consistency. Woody flavor of hickory, sugar and malt. A bit of cheap grain coming through on the finish. If you like this sh*t, then you like New Castle. Really a blood-red beer, pale ale my ass.

Bottle, can’t discern the date. Gorgeous clear light brown/orange color. More carbonation than I’d like. Sweet caramel malts but also perfumey flavor and some grassy hops. Not that bitter, which is fine.
