phllybeer29 (20), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 30, 2007 Nice head, smooth taste, with a touch of fruity flavor. This is one of my favorite common/easy-to-get ales. rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden Aug 30, 2007 Amber color, quite nice offwhite head. Malty and fruity aroma. Quite mild fruity flavor. hombrepalo (726), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 29, 2007 ehh its ok. Clear bright amber with a small white head. Weak spicy aroma with some toffee notes. Light, almost water body and flavour, toffee and more spicy hops. Little carbonation and a reasonably long sweet finish. Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 26, 2007 Pale amber-copper colored bubbly body with a healthy white head. Nutty caramel spicy nose with crisp malt notes. Sharp biting carbonated mouth feel with a sweet and bitter balance that is quite welcomed. Finished smooth. I imagine this is what the original pale ales were like in England. ShamRock (20), Rochester, New York, USA Aug 25, 2007 Not too bad. Taste better when its really cold. Has a good malty taste to it. Kind of flattens out quickly. First sip is better then the last. More or less an average pale ale. Bradrcr (778), Renton, Washington, USA Aug 22, 2007 8/22/07 From the bpttle. Aroma is lightly roasted, caramel malt forward with a low earthy hop character. Appearance is medium copper with a medium off-white head. Flavor is sweet malt forward with a balance of earthy, slightly resiny citrus hops. Some fruity esters are evident. Mouthfeel is medium/low bodied with medium carb feel. Overall, very refreshing and easy drinking for a full-flavored beer, always good. puggy211 (576), cordova, Tennessee, USA Aug 16, 2007 12 oz bottle, copper color nice head fades fast, slight hop smell, slight hop presence, clean finish.good mild pale. good transition beer for people.
