On tap, copper hue, creamy tan head, good lacing, tastes metallic, bitter and like burnt malt, decent. Miss the black and tans.

A light malt aroma with little or no hops. A clean amberish pour with light lacing and head. A semi sweet malty flavor and just a hint of bitter. Just a bit fizzy for me and a tad thin. Overall decent drinker not special but clean. Best offering at the Charlotte, NC airport.

Bottle. A dark copper color with a thin off-white head. Somewhat malty aroma. Flavor is bitter but, not a hop bitterness. Drank one of these for the first time in at least a year. Different than I remember it. Pretty decent beer.

Bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours amber with a average size creamy white head that is mostly diminishing but leaving good lacing. The aroma is of straw. The flavor isnt much, a strawy taste with slight flowery light hop flavor. The finish is short with a light body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall I was not to impressed, it is a hopped up BMC.

On tap and poured into a pint glass. This ale poured a crystal clear brownish/amber color with a decent sized, fizzy, beige head that slowly faded away. The aroma of this brew was lightly roasted sweet malts, caramel, and a touch of very faint citrus. The flavor was more of the same. Very mild, not much bitterness. Overall, I would say that it had good balance, but the flavor was a bit to subdued for my tastes. Pretty much just an average beer, but very sessionable, none the less.

Tap...is there anything better than a cold, fresh Bass? Great ruby brown color...nice full creamy-eggshell head, long lasting...hoppy(not overpowering), slightly sweet, friut taste(you decide the fruit),dry aftertaste...goes with too many foods to mention...U.S. PA’s here’s your grandaddy...still a great iconic beer that needs to be rediscovered by "beer" drinkers.

Fruity, slightly hoppy aroma. Amber brown with a decent head. Fruity taste - red delicious apples, apricot, dry hop aftertaste. Nice creamy body, good carbonation. Fruity and interesting, and well balanced.
