Waited a while to try this one. Caramel notes, malt and nuts. Nice one. Worth the wait? well yes, but did expect something a bit more special, but I did like it. Love to try draft.

Pretty quintessential pale ale. Nothing spectacular, but very drinkable. Head thins after a few minutes; hoppy but not as bitter as some pale ales. Not always the cheapest, but reliably good.

Had this at a Tiki Hut on Marco Island. By the time it got to me, there was still a small 2 cm frothy head. The color was amber with some lacing. This may be because it was served to me in a plastic cup, but the smell really threw me off this time, and I’ve had Bass a lot over the years. There was something in there I couldn’t agree with--a mixture of mop cleaner and vomit. The taste was decent: malt and nuttiness. Won’t be having this one in a while.

Amber body with a 2 finger off-white head and some lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel, and a bit nutty. Flavor is pretty good. You can pick up malt, caramel, biscuit, nuts, slight bitterness.....though all the flavors are a bit muted as they meld together. Bass is like an old standby to me, as it is widely available and you can often find it even where there are few options. Solid beer.

used to like it a lot before i really got bored and into other beers. overbearing caramel taste and body does not seem to suit togeather well. (as time g oes by) the combination of this and guiness (a black and tan) (i think) rates higher than a 3. i like it better than the 2 seperately. even with the body and lack of carbonation it still seems weak, watery and impotent at times. but for a while there we had a good realtionship.

Not a bad session ale at all. I find it to be pleasantly malty. As far as macros go I’d say it’s near the top of the list. The only problem with readily available quality macros is that most places think that it’s a much better beer than it actually is and end up charging way too much for it.

A good middle beer with its fruity, nutty and spicyness I felt like at firsts it was a bit too bitter but as I got about half way through it became a bit malty...

On tap in Northern Ireland. Pours a clear copper with a thin off-white head. Aroma of nuts and fruit, which carries over to the taste. Very lightly bitter. Medium-light body and medium carbonation. Dry finish. This beer would be completely sessionable.
