Medium amber body with a whitish head, aroma is slightly fruity with hints of sweet rolling tobacco as the beer warmed. Sweet doughy flavor with an inoffensively bitter aftertaste. Makes a damn good black and tan though.

16 oz draft Charlotte airport. Clear, watered down copper with small white head that flits away. Aroma is sickening metallic ozone, with some tones of caramel and a hint of pepper. Flavor is the same on most sips; oily and cheesy on some alternate sips. Palate is light and watery. This beer seems undecided on what it should be, but I don’t know if aging would help. I’ve given this one several chances, and I think an American industrial lager might even be preferable. Makes both my stomach and head ache, and has always been difficult to finish.

Bright amber color, with a white head, leaving laces, biscuity malt nose, with a cookie dough note, hint of nuttiness, toffeeish accent, with a subtle fruitiness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp toasted and biscuity malt character, with some toffee and nutty accents, a faint floral hop note, leading towards a malty, lingering hop bitterness finish.

Nice carmel color smell of slight grassyness but not much, palate very white kinda shocked how dark the beer with such a white head, not a bad beer but not the best not a fan of the price either for a 6 pack

On tap. Aroma is of light malts and apples. Average sized, frothy white, mostly diminishing head that leaves a fair lacing. Clear medium amber body. Flavor starts lightly sweet and finishes the same along with light bitters. Palate is med-light and watery. Flat carbonation. This is the beer that really got me interested in beer tasting.

On Tap in an english pint. Medium white head and dark amber colour. Light hops and malt taste, slight watery with a medium body, and decent carbonation that matched the beer well. A refreshing brew to have with dinner.

355 ml bottle - pours clear honey with a thick foamy white head. Aroma is earthy and woody. Some twiggy hops and a good amount of sweet malt. There’s also a strange metallic sharpness in the nose, can’t put my finger on it, but it’s not all that appealing. Taste is decent - well-balanced and rather uninspiring. Earthy, mossy tasting, with some bitterness that continues through to the finish. Slightly watery mouthfeel, and overcarbonated for the style. Good product, if somewhat bland; not something I would buy often.
