On tap at the Flying Saucer in KC. Pours a crystal clear, copper orange body with a finger width, creamy, off-white head that leaves a light lacing. Aroma is malty with a very light hay and just a touch of fruit. Flavor is better and well balanced. Nothing too striking, but passes by with enough flavor. A good amount of pale caramels and a nice, soft, balancing hop bitterness. Some fruity notes make their way in too. Finishes with a light drying, sweet herbal bitterness that lasts for a decent amount of time. Light to medium bodied, smooth, balanced, and very sessionable. Overall, this isn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Not a huge flavor, but enough of a bitterness to satisfy.

This is a good solid import beer. Nice crisp clear amber color. Smooth sweet feel in mouth with earthy vegetable undertones. Leave a nice weighty feel in mouth.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a good size off-white head. Sweet biscuity aroma dominates. Flavor is very malty with hints of corn and grain. Not bad, but I don’t see myself drinking this often.

On tap June 17, 2009. Amber color with moderate off-white head. Caramel, slightly sweet malts. Above average, but nothing hits me as setting this beer apart.
