Pours brown with an average typical white head. Not a lot of aroma. For a bitter it doesn’t have any hoppiness which is too bad. Very sweet caramel taste which finishes with a slight maltiness. Could be worse.

As the last lot have said, typically english. Easy drinking, not huge on flavour but decent enough for what there is. Toffee, apple, dried fruits. Not too bad

So, so very English, as attractive of a pre-orthodontic Brit. Low on taste, with a big banana and apple soul. Drank plenty in college, yet as the beer geekiness seeped its way into my blood, Bass was forced out. Good when compared to most A-B Inbev dreck, but lead poisoning is good when compared to most beers they brew.

As English as English can be. Pours a clear coppery-red with nice pile of head. It’s not big on flavour but what’s there is pleasant enough - mostly malts with a bit of complexity - caramel, some fruitiness, balanced by some subtle floral/meadowy hops. Well balanced. English, like I said. Bit of a mineral character to it. It’s clean and crisp and all but unfortunately its just too thin on everything to be rated any higher.

Clear light amber in color with a foamy head that left better-than-expected lace. Pale malty aroma with no hop characteristic, somewhat like an American macro. Good thing the taste holds up. Sweet nutty caramel malts fill a very modest medium body and lightly carbonated brew. Slight cheese (not in a bad way), very light floral hop on finish and aftertaste. Not bad, but not awesome either.

Pours a brass color, with whitish head. Taste is fairly good, with notes of mild hops. Smooth and drinkable. A notch or two above Bud.

Pours basically orange with a small fairly loose head and a bit of lace. The aroma is odd, I swear it was corny up front, which gave way to a fruity character, there is certainly some lavender and perfumery aromas to it as well. What an odd smelling beer. The flavor a touch better, but somehow retains that odd lavender and light corn character. The nice parts include a pleasant crispness and fruitiness of the hops, along with the dry maltiness.... hmmm I don’t ever remember disliking this beer. But man... I don’t think I like it very much anymore.
