On tap in Toronto. Pours dark amber with inch or so head. I’m glad I finally got around to trying this. I was impressed with how smooth it was but little finish on the end. I will have again soon.

Pours amber with thin white head. Aroma is very earthy with roasty caramel. Taste is sweet. Light mouthfeel and low alcohol make this easy to drink.

Tap @ Pub Kultainen Apina, Tampere.
Pours a clear copper colour with a small lacy head. Aroma of grassy hops and hay. Flavour of grassy hops, some sweet malts, hay and toffee. Light bodied with a slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Sweet, mild fruity finish. Easy and good.

Amber in color with a light tan head. Slightly hoppy aroma. Good malty taste that doesn’t get in the way of the hops. All in all a solid beer.

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2011 I mean, for a macro everywhere brew, this one has good malty flavors. The body is a little weak and theres a funky boring structure, but malt flavors! yea

568ml bottle. "Pub Pour" Pours amber with yellow on the edges. THe head is foamy and off white and dissipates quickly. The smell is rather pungeant, with a large metallic whiff. This bottle doesn’t smell like normal bass. The taste is better, normal Bass favor with sweet malt and not much hoppiness. The hops are english hops. Overall for a pedestrian cheap macro it isn’t bad, this bottle seemed to be not as good as previous one’s I have had. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 01-16-2010 20:53:56

This tends to be my go-to beer when nothing better is around. In my area, you can usually count on this being available along with bud and all the other macros. Nice amber color, kinda thin and no complexity to speak of, but at least it does have some bready flavors going on. A nicely balanced and very drinkable beer -- and so much better than the american macros.
