COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available filtered in bottles, cans, and kegs.
A version of Bass, primarily for the North American market at 5%.
Brewed from the late 70’s at Burton. In 2000, after Interbrew bought the Bass brand, production was switched to the Ulster brewery in Northern Ireland. In 2003 production and distribution was switched to Latrobe for a 12-18 period after which it reverted to the UK, latterly at InBev’s Samlesbury brewery. As of 2012, the US version was being produced at A-B InBev’s Baldwinsville brewery but production at Samlesbury continues for other export markets.

Natural Light is the jam! I can’t tell you how many empty Natty cans were found lying around ’the morning after’ in my fraternity house. For 5 years straight I pounded this delight, and I’m a better man for it. At $10 a case, you just can’t beat it. After the third beer, you really can’t taste it no matter what you’re drinking, so any toolbox walking around a party with a 6 of Bass is just trying to get laid. Of course, odds are that the chick he plans on hitting on is slurping down a nice smooth Au Natural. Wise choice, my Lady, and keep on stepping, loser!

This is a beautiful ale. A Classic. Flavor is just not fresh enough to truly appreciate here in the states. Delightlfully malty and wonderfully bittered. Not a bad selection.

Becoming more and more available at mainstream places. Usually my choice when I go out to a place that doesn’t have a variety of beer. Sometimes can seem watery, but it is really satisfying 99% of the time.

Not much aroma or flavor as expected. Only a little spicy and malty taste. Good white head.

Bass is all that and less. A mass produced ale that has weak watery bland dull flavor. As one other reviewer mentions it has strong hints of mud puddle with a lingering after taste of dish water. Not worth the price.

everyone knows it... it ain’t new... but it’s the one I rate all the others by... and it’s the one that gets sucked up the most by visitors to the humble abode.

Better than the bottle version. Very creamy with some hop flavor. good for summer boating or where you don’t want to take glass.
