Everytime I drink this, I am reminded of when I was 19 sneaking beers. Almond aroma in the back of the throat (not a falvor used often in beer descriptions), a classic bitter in every way. I notice among my friends, the older we get and more "mature" our palates get, the weaker this beer seems.

Sep 30, 2008 Tres belle couleur orange cuivrée, peu de mousse mais énormément de gout. Impossible de ne pas aimer ce classique Anglais. Pas trop bitter, pas trop houblonné, les plus fins y verront une petite finale caramélisé. Excellent!!!

Sep 28, 2008 Clear, gold appearance with a thick white head. Aroma is nicely balanced of hops, malts and yeast. Flavor is definitely good. Palate is smooth and warm bodied with a nice bitter finish. Lovely beer.
