This is a great example of Ales. Crisp flavor with some hints of spice and fruit. Goes down easy. Reddish color and long forming head. Get it.

Nice copper color. Head stays around a while. Fine hops up front with malt soon following. Carmel in back.

My personal favorite Mass Distribution beer. A perfect blend of lightness blended with unique flavor and aroma. A hint of bitterness adds something interesting to the beer. Slight fruit flavor and I sometimes get a hint of something bordering on licorice mixed in. A wonderful beer to enjoy with friends and accompanies barbecue nicely. One of the things I've always liked about this beer is just how good I feel after it, producing just enough buzz to relax with, without feeling bloated or weighed down. For a great experience, go for the Black and Tan.

A true classic, sweet creamy flavor, leaves a nice hoppy taste in your mouth. Could drink this stuff all day.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2005 I’ve decided that this is as "light" as I’m prepared to go. This ale didn’t have much of an aroma, was giving me nightmares of Boddington’s until I tasted it. This had a nice bite to it. As you can see from the picture, it’s an amber ale...and due to my unskilled pour produced a tremendous head..for shame. I’d order this again if I didn’t feel in the mood for a dark porter. RERATE: Well, I’ve had a lot more of these, and for good reason. This is an excellent crisp beer that always goes down smooth with a balanced taste. Whether to refresh after mowing the lawn, or to warm on a cold autumn night, this is the session ale of choice!

This beer has no aroma to speak of but it looks and tastes the part of a great ale. I love it.

One of my favorites! This ale has a toasty aroma and taste, and has a lot of depth for a pale ale.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2007 One of my favorite beers. Good from the bottle or on tap. Can taste the hops, but not overpowering for a pale ale. A pleasant aftertaste combined with a great amber-brown color also add to its appeal.
