Hard to go wrong with this beer. Pours a nice dark amber color. Bursting with flavor, and I enjoy the light bitter aftertaste. Drink in mass quanities with drunken English football fans.

You really can’t go wrong with this one. From the bottle, it’s better not quite ice cold. On tap, it’s magnificent. Very full, lively taste, with a bitter malty undercurrent. The aftertaste is very nice, and the head is perfect for a beerstache. I really can’t say enough good things about this beer. It’s not the greatest, sure, but it’s definitely my "old reliable".

Très bonne bière. Cela ne fait que trois mois que je déguste la bière et j’ai un bon palmares juska maintenant alors je ne peut pas donner de meilleur détail sur cette bieère sinon qu’elle est très bonne. Je vais tenter de m’améliorer !

Great dark red colour with a solid white head that lingers. Lighter taste lots of sweetness from the grains with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall very refreshing.

I tried this beer on August 13, 2008 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a beautiful translucent red colour with a thin off-white cap. The aroma was nutty malt with some hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, slightly creamy, and ample carbonation. The flavour was very malty with a hint of hoppish bitterness. Some nutty character certainly came through.

I have always liked Bass. Great nose, bitter and yeasty flavor, from a rust color with no head. Good with a cigarette.

Got it on draught at Carson’s American Bistro in Ann Arbor, MI. Poured a dark, hazy copper and had a nice aroma of hops. It felt medium-bodied in the mouth and the hops were pretty apparent in the taste, but not overwhelming. This is a very drinkable pale. It’s very flavorful without being too strong to have a few.
