(Sample from June 2, 2006 Beer Club Meeting; On tap at Buffalo Wild Wings on June 17, 2008) I can honestly think of a lot of not-that-great beers that taste better than this one. I’m not going to let it’s name defend itself here. Looks nice - a clear, dark red color/orange mahogany-ish with a fine head. Smell… dull. If anything, a little malty. Taste reminds me of a flat, almost watery amber ale - tastes nothing like a pale ale. Had a soapy aftertaste. I think I almost tasted citrus, though... I know that’s not right. Beer shouldn’t be this confusing.

Sep 30, 2008 Tres belle couleur orange cuivrée, peu de mousse mais énormément de gout. Impossible de ne pas aimer ce classique Anglais. Pas trop bitter, pas trop houblonné, les plus fins y verront une petite finale caramélisé. Excellent!!!

Sep 28, 2008 Clear, gold appearance with a thick white head. Aroma is nicely balanced of hops, malts and yeast. Flavor is definitely good. Palate is smooth and warm bodied with a nice bitter finish. Lovely beer.
