12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours black with a small brown creamy head and not a lot of lacing. Aroma is roasted malts and some chocolate. Taste is sweet; also roasted malts, caramel some coffee and chocolate slightly bitter. Not spectacular but it is a good beer.

Rated on 4-17-2014 (Bottle) This beer pours a large smooth tan head that mostly diminishes, mostly opaque dark brown with a red tint body and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is roasted, dark malt, chocolate, light coffee, and a bit earthy. The taste is lightly bitter, roasted malt, chocolate, and earthy. The mouthfeel is clean and thin. This beer is light bodied. Overall, this is an easy drinking beer, but very thin and on the watery side.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque dark black brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was brown malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mild mild roasted malt aftertaste. The tangy flavor contained notes of roasted malt burnt malt brown malt dark malt and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Dark brown/ruby color with a small head. Light roast, some fruitiness in the aroma, maybe banana. Mild chocolate and roast flavor. A bit metallic.

mild roasted smell, taste is similar...very mild stout...good, but not much to rate because of mildness

From the 355 ml. bottle stamped 15155BF53. The pour is a dark chestnut brown color with ruby hues and a short-lived off-white head that fizzles down to a ring. The aroma includes dark and caramel malts, brown sugar, molasses and a touch of baked chocolate. The body is thin. The taste has a roasted dark malt character with decent sweetness and a clean, dry finish. If you like Guinness Stout you will like this.

Pours a black color with a tan head that faded quickly to a few spots of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt chocolate with trace of coffee in the background. Tatse of roasted malt, chocolate and a bit of coffee in the background. Decent stout bitterness and fairly dry finish with just a bit of lingering bitterness. Moderate body and a decent bit of stout grit. Not a bad stout, probably goes best as part of a "black & tan".

12oz bottle - pours black with beige head. Nose is roast and caramel. Sip adds coffee/dark chocolate. Light bitterness and light to medium light body. Easy to drink. a little watery but still a stout weighing in at 4.2% ABV which is still .1% stronger than a Guinness from Ireland.

12oz bottle. Poured a brown color with a thin sized off white head. Chocolate, roast, grains, and some lighter coffee. I say lighter coffee but everything about this was lighter and somewhat watery.

Near black pour with thin khaki head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, dark bread. Taste is watered down coffee. This kind of reminds me of Guinness.

Duped! Not that I had a lot of respect for Bass, but LOL. Dark pour, moderate head, average at best lace/retention. Aroma is overall light but gives chocolate, lightly roasted, lightly floral. Light bodied, lightly bitter, watery.
