3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had on tap at golf range. Beer pours with a creamy mocha colored head, nose is roast, smoke, coffee color is black with garnet tones, a really nice beer. Would have rated it higher but the bottled version was not as good as the legged version.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Aroma: Roasted malt, smoke, dried fruit, medium-light sweetness, cherry,
Appearance: Dark brown body. Medium light-brown, long lasting head. Lacing.
Flavour: Medium-high smoke, roasted. Medium bitterness, medium sweetness. Cacao
Palate: Medium-full body. Soft but active carbonation. Dry finish, with a light lingering smoky. Slight astingnency
Overall: Well balanced overall. The flavour and aroma is definitely smoke orientated, but not overpoweringly smoky. An easy drinking beer that will go down great with a braai! Although not an everyday beer, I really enjoy this beer!
