on tap at the brewpub. Hazy deep golden, nearly amber colour, large and creamy head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, pleasantly malty with a shy fruity touch and good Saaz hops in the lingering finish. Not as bitter-sweet as other Czech beers, but very nice.

Pivovar Bašta, Prága. Szép, igen komolyan opálos arany szín, jókora púpos tömör fehér habbal. Illata malátás, szalmás, kissé élesztős és savanykásan gyümölcsös is. Ízében szinte haraphatóan érződik a maláta, egy jó adag közepesen keserű füves cseh komló, de megtalálható benne az illatából várt enyhe almás savanyúság is, ami egyébként egyáltalán nem zavaró. Utóíze kenyeres, száraz és hosszan tartó. Nagyon jóféle helyben főzött világos, bátran ajánlom!

lightly hazed gold body, creamy fine white head. somewhat buttery and musty in the nose, moderate yeast ester presence. frothy and creamy, perfectly presented carbonation. malt is muddle somewhat by the presence of yeast, but it’s doughy, cracker-like, lightly toasted and supported firm. medium hop bitterness, medium acid. decent.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours light hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma is deep malty. Taste is fresh malty, with some good fresh and crisp hops, grassy and citrus. Moderate bitter towards the end,dry and clean mouthfeel.

Heller Hopfenantrunk mit angedeuteter Banenennote. Mild aber süffi, vor allem im hinteren mittelteil würzig. Wenig hopfig, ansprechend herb-würzig. 11/10/9/9//9

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild grassy and slight yeasty. Bitter, mild wheaty and slight grassy. Medium dry and bitter. Ends rather dry and bitter. Smooth mouthfeel.

Draught at the brewpub. Light cloudy golden with creamy head. Fresh pale malty nose with tad sulphur. Rich hoppy flavour with marked bitterness which gives a dry feel to the beer, almost papery. Firm, steady body.

Hazy amber. Fresh, lightly fruity and pale bread aroma. Tasty, yeasty, with moderate bitterness. Not bad.

On tap at Basta. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma has lots of malt, toffee and biscuit along with some herbal hop. Bready malt and herbal hop flavour with an excellent, very bitter finish

Draft @ brewpub. Hazy and unfiltered, looks very similar to the ’dark.’ Very thick head. The fresh aroma is minerally, which is nice. Not very hoppy but has a good malt character. Very drinkable. The dark is so similar...maybe just a bit toastier in the finish. Unsophisticated and fun.

Draught @ the brewpub. Cloudy golden pour covered by a huge, tight off-white head. Fresh bready malts meet a fresh hoppiness. Freshness is a theme here. Leafy herbal, spicy, floral hops make for a lasting bitter impression, far beyond your average Svetle. Not very complex, but on a hot day, those hops do a fine refreshing job and the cerealic malts are filling enough, feeling rather round under this cask-like texture. Delicious.
