(750ml bottle) clear gold, very effervescent and lasting white head. Nose of belgian style hops, duvel yeast, gold raisins, dry. Taste of noble hops, aged hops, golden raisin, belgian, dry, a bit floral, this is an under the radar beer.

Belated rating due to misplaced tasting book.On draught at Brussels Belgian Beer Weekend,Grand Place.
My first beer from this brewery and good first impressions.
Poured yellow colour with small creamy white head.Pleasant aroma of citrus hops and herbs and spices coming through too.Flavours of lemon and grapefruit with a grassy and hoppy taste also there.A couple more sips and the herbs and spices appear making this a refreshing beer, very nice.Note to self, there are 4 other beers here this weekend from this brewery which must be sampled before return home!
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 BlackHaddock (2350) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 31, 2012
75cl bottle shared with friends @ the Diest bierfestival on 20th Oct 2012. Tasting notes say it is brewed with American hops and wants to be an IPA!
Yellow to orange in body colour with a dull white head on each pour.
Hops abound in the nose: a real mixed bag of semi-citrus, spices and herbs with a nutty note thrown in for good measure.
The taste was also a pleasant blend of hoppy flavours: pink grapefruit, summer fruits, those herbs and spices again, plus my nuts.
Interesting and refreshing: a nice surprise to find such a well made IPA at a Belgian fest. This wasn’t overly hopped or super bitter, and other notes from the yeast and malt elements could also be found within the brew.

on tap @ Brassigaume 2012, Marbehan, Belgium
Pale yellow in the glass with a fine creamy white head. It smells moderately hoppy, slightly grapefruit and some sweet yeast. Starts citrus-hoppy, very fruity, with sweet yeasty nuances in the background. The middle part is very fruity and hoppy, the yeast goes back a bit. Goes into a hoppy, fruity finish with some yeast and pine wood in the background.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Countbeer (2852) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - OCT 13, 2012
Bottle:
Medium fluffy and slow disappearing off white to ashy white head on top of a hazy almost murky yellow orange colored beer.
Smell nice, soft, crisp and smooth hop notes, light citrus, pine, grapefruit, some herbs and nettle. Very nice.
Tasty hop notes with light citrus tints, crispy, some grapefruit sweetness, fresh cut grass, light bitterness. Well balanced and a tasty surprise of the evening.
Aftertate is hoppy, citrus, grass and some malts.
Low to medium carbo, soft mouthfeel, good medium body and a light creamy texture.
Very nice indeed!

Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Hoppy aroma, quite fresh, Belgian yeast, light spicy and citrus notes. Light sweet malty flavour, light sour notes, light bitter hops. Finish bitter hops, malty, light sweet, light cloying.
