Bastone Blonde

On tap at the Bastone Brew Pub. Poured a light and clear straw color with a very small sized white head. Very light aromas and overall tasteless. Some grass and honey. Thin and watery. Pass.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy white colored bubbles that was mostly lasting and left behind a transparent softly carbonated yellow colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was mild malt and mild hop. The astringent mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt mild hops and mild astringency. Not one that I would likely buy again.

Draught. At the brewpub with blankboy, GregClow, jerc and tupalev. Looks like a pale lager - clear gold, creamy white head, nice lacing, no bubbles though. Aroma is a bit like their dort - chemical, caramel, dry grain - ehh. Taste is a touch sour, harsh and grainy - diactyl? Avg body, bitter lightly carbonated mouthfeel, the finish is quick but harsh, with a harsh aftertaste - fairly poor.

Pale yellow body, thin film of a head. Fairly prominent diacytel in the aroma. Sweet grainy pale malt, very little bitterness. Pretty dull.

On-tap at the brewpub. Served too cold, this is the standard transition replacement at many bars for macro. Decent malty aroma, light yellow, with some soap bubbles on top. very light
