drinkallday (20), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA Feb 28, 2007 I like this one too. Real clear and bubbly. Not too big on hops and not too big on malt. A great sdession beer in the vane of a light beer. Not everyone at my table liked it , they said it was too light, as they drank their IPA’s. I guess not every beer is for every one. I liked it. Brad (364), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA Apr 4, 2005 Not sure what style this beer is, it was called Bastone blonde on the menu. Also unsure of the alcohol rating as I did not write it down. Pale yellow, rapidly diminishing white head, low carbonation. Very doughy flavor, with malt and peaches. Lasting aftertaste. jerc (3114), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 23, 2006 Pale yellow body, thin film of a head. Fairly prominent diacytel in the aroma. Sweet grainy pale malt, very little bitterness. Pretty dull. HogTownHarry (3200), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Jul 24, 2006 Updated: Jul 26, 2006Draught. At the brewpub with blankboy, GregClow, jerc and tupalev. Looks like a pale lager - clear gold, creamy white head, nice lacing, no bubbles though. Aroma is a bit like their dort - chemical, caramel, dry grain - ehh. Taste is a touch sour, harsh and grainy - diactyl? Avg body, bitter lightly carbonated mouthfeel, the finish is quick but harsh, with a harsh aftertaste - fairly poor. blankboy (2570), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 26, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale gold with a spare white head. Fruity aroma with some yeast, grain and light hops. Flavour of fruit, malt, grain and faint hops -- kind of watery but otherwise not bad. Light to medium bodied. Pretty good for a Blonde, but it’s still a Blonde and somewhat dull.
