thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Nov 13, 2006 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that was mostly lasting and left behind a transparent uncarbonated yellow colored body and a fair lacing. . The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The clean flavor contained notes of mild malt and mild hops. OK, but not one that I would likely buy again. blankboy (3156), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 26, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow-gold with a spare white head. Sweet aroma of caramel malt along with grain and some faint hops. Flavour’s also sweet and of caramel malt, some fruit, grain and an odd light bitter finish. Average body. It was alright. tupalev (2605), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 25, 2006 Draught at the brewpub on Michigan Trip ’06. Dark yellow, small white head, frothy. Nice sweet grainy aroma. Sweet taste, very buttery, some canned mushroom. Not bad, but didn’t leave much of an impression. GregClow (2492), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 24, 2006 Draught sampler at the brewpub. Clear golden colour. Aroma of fresh grass and caramelly malt. Flavour of herbal hops, grain, and buttery caramel - perhaps a bit of diacetyl going on in there - leading to a dryish finish. Not bad. HogTownHarry (3922), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Jul 24, 2006 Updated: Jul 26, 2006Draught. At the brewpub with blankboy, GregClow, jerc and tupalev. Clear gold pour, small head. Aroma was somewhat chemically to me, sweet caramel and grain, with that odd out-of-place tang hoving over everything. Taste was buttery caramel with a slightly bitter finish from dead-tasting hops - mouthfeel was completely still, sticky - no, don’t like this one - the dubbel wasn’t very good, but it was better than this offering. jerc (3861), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 23, 2006 Crisp golden yellow with small white head. Muted sweet caramel aroma with a fairly strong note of what I assume is diacytel. Odd bitterness bit of diacytel like sweetness, caramel. Average palate is a bit more full than average. Decent but a bit odd.
