tap at brewery. Brown with small head. Sweet malty dubbel with light Belgian spice. There arenít any flaws to these beers, but I find them bland.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a clear dark copper color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily. Top ring of lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malt, yeast and fruit, Medium body with flavors of sweet caramel, earthy malt, dark fruit and yeast. The finish is malty with a sweet aftertaste. Above average overall.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2010 Very nice dubbel. Pours a very cloudy reddish-brown, coppery even. Almost no head and very light lacing. Aroma is mild and slightly fruity. Tastes a bit sweet, with caramel maltiness, and a sour/fruity component. Crisp, creamy, moderate to low carbonation, overall very enjoyable.

MBG Winterfest 2010 under Dubbel Vision. Poured dark cloudy brown color with an average light brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate yeast, dark fruit aroma. Medium body with smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium well balanced sweet fruit flavor with a medium complex sweet finish of moderate duration. Good brew.

I had this on tap at the brew pub in Royal Oak, MI. It was a lot darker than I expected, and had no head. I actually really liked the caramel and slight tangy fruitiness on the finish. We ordered some soft pretzel sticks with cheese dip that went incredibly well with the beer. I think this should be at least an 80 overall. Cheers!

Reddish brown with thin white head. Fruit and sweet malt aroma. Dark fruit, grain, and caramel flavours. Medium body and sweet. My cousin noted that it reminded him of chicken wings....
